On the occasion of the anniversary, the Greifswald branch of DARC e.V. has received the special call sign DL7ØGREIF from the Federal Network Agency for use until 31.12.2021. The radio operation is intended to honour both the sailing training ship itself and all activities on board over the course of the 70 years.
